Policies

  1. General

    1. This Policy Statement provided at "Ateam Software Website" (here in after referred to as the website) is with respect to the usage of the website and services provided by "Ateam Software" (here in after referred to as the company)
    2. Usage of the website and receiving services from the company is deemed to have read and understood the entire Policy Statement where the user subsequently willingly agreed to be bound by all the Policies.
    3. The Policy Statement published here is not exhaustive and additional policies may or will apply based on the usage of the products, services and information depending on the services received by the company.
    4. The company will not consider a minor as a client and will not provide products or services to an individual below the age of 18 years and in an event where our services are required by a minor a parent or a guardian or a responsible adult should act instead.
    5. In an event of any inconsistency, discrepancy or conflict of this Policy Statement between English version and any other language translations provided by the company on demand by clients, the English text shall prevail and supersede any other translation or any other version in any language.
  2. Notice

    1. The Policies of the company can be changed without any prior notice to the clients and such power is totally vested on the company.
    2. Clients are expected to read, understand and agree to all policies each time before receiving any services from the company.
    3. The policy statement here is the practice of the company and in an event of third party introductions by the company, the clients are expected to inquire, obtain knowledge and agree to third party policies before purchasing any products or services and the company assumes no responsibility of policies of third parties.
    4. The company may not be able to accurately distinguish between a minor and an adult at all the instances even when contacted in person or contacted via the internet or telephone.

Privacy Policy

  1. Information Collection

    1. We may collect and hold "Personal Information and Other Data" (here in after referred to as the information) about the client or "Someone Else" (here in after referred to as the third party) whom you have provided information to the company that can identify the client or third party or third parties relevant to the company in providing services.
    2. The client acknowledge that in order to render the services of the company effectively it is necessary to capture, store, update, process, transfer and share the information provided with associates, affiliates, partners, subsidiaries, vendors, service providers, strategic partners, third party contractors and merchants within and beyond the company.
  2. Agreement and Consent

    1. The company assumes the consent of the client and third party or third parties unless and until informed contrary.
    2. The company assumes that the client represent and warrant that you have obtained the consent of the third party or third parties or is entitled to provide the information on behalf.
    3. The company will not be responsible or liable in the client's failure to comply with Section 2 Clause 2 of the Privacy Policy and in the event a loss or a damage is suffered you agree to indemnify the company.
    4. The client agree and provide the full consent to capture, store, update, process, transfer and share the information provided with associates, affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, service providers, strategic partners, third party contractors and merchants within and beyond the company in order to render the services of the company effectively.
    5. The client is responsible to ensure that the information provided is accurate, complete, not misleading and kept up to date.
    6. The client is granting permission and giving consent when provided to the company to store the information in servers, databases, computers and system facilities owned or tenanted by the company operated by the company or third party service providers which may be outside the country of domicile of the client or the location where the business transactions are carried out.
  3. Information Usage

    1. The company will use the information collected not limited to provide the products and services sold by the company, quotations, presales activities, formulate contracts, maintain your account, issue invoices, process transactions and other activities.
    2. The company will use the information collected to contact the clients and third parties to maintain effective communication before a sale, during the course of providing services and after providing services for marketing, customer support, inform about important changes or developments, new products, new services, surveys, questionnaires and similar purposes to ensure customer satisfaction.
    3. The company will use the information collected to conduct assessments, perform analysis, research activities, forecasting trends, internal administration, organisational planning and other similar operations.
    4. The company will use the information collected for any other purposes made known to the client at the time of collection.
    5. The company will share the information in statistically useful formats with potential acquirer, buyers, shareholders and this will not include personal identity details.
  4. Information Disclosure

    1. The company will share the information collected with associates, affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, services providers, strategic partners, third party contactors and merchants who may be located in different countries in situations where the company reasonably believes would benefit the client and the company to effectively provide the services to the client.
    2. The company will disclose the information collected for prevention, detection or prosecution of crime complying with legal and regulatory obligations prescribed by the law.
    3. The company will disclose the information to complain management bodies, dispute resolution institutions, debt collecting organisations and law enforcing authorities where the company reasonably believes is necessary or as permitted by law.
    4. The company will disclose the information collected for any other purposes made known to the client at the time of collection.
    5. The company will transfer the information in detail and completely to any future acquirers or buyers in full or partial where the acquisition or purchase is related.
  5. Information Security

    1. The company will take reasonable steps to protect the information captured from misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure but assumes no responsibility for damage or loss occurred upon failure where permitted by the law.
    2. The information captured will be held in electronic or hard copy formats by the company or third parties retained by the company to hold the information on behalf of the company and will be destroyed completely or identity relationship destroyed and instruct the third parties holding the information on behalf of the company to do the same when no longer needed or prescribed by the law.
    3. Most of the time the clients choose to communicate with the company via the internet and the internet is inherently insecure, the company provides no assurance of secure transmission of the information and when the clients do so it is the decision of the client and will do it at their own risk.
    4. The company will attempt to secure the information according to the prescribed regulations, standards and law by recording information who have access, control access based on necessity, limit access based on needs, include confidentiality terms in employee contracts and other ways deemed necessary limited to the financial capabilities of the company.
